From the Country That Gave the World the Marathon
Race In Form is based in Athens, Greece—just 300 meters from the Ancient Agora, the very spot where Pheidippides delivered his legendary message after running from the Battle of Marathon in 490 BC.
Honoring Every Finish Line
In 490 BC, Pheidippides ran approximately 40 kilometers from the battlefield of Marathon to Athens to announce the Greek victory over the Persian Empire. According to legend, upon reaching the Ancient Agora, he proclaimed "Νενικήκαμεν!" (We have won!) before collapsing from exhaustion.
This legendary act of endurance and sacrifice inspired the modern marathon race, first held at the 1896 Athens Olympics. Today, millions of runners worldwide participate in marathons, Ironman triathlons, ultramarathons, and other endurance events—each one carrying forward Pheidippides' spirit of determination.
At Race In Form, we believe every finish line deserves celebration. We create beautiful, personalized posters that commemorate your race achievements—whether it's your first 5K or your 100th marathon, whether you finished in 2 hours or 6.

The Only Place We Could Be
Greece is not just where the marathon was born—it's where the very concept of athletic competition as a celebration of human potential originated. The ancient Greeks believed that physical excellence was inseparable from moral and intellectual virtue.
Our office sits in the shadow of the Acropolis, steps away from the Panathenaic Stadium where the first modern Olympic marathon finished in 1896. Every day, we're surrounded by 2,500 years of athletic history.
This isn't just our location—it's our inspiration. When we create a poster for your Boston Marathon or Ironman Kona finish, we do so carrying the weight of history and the spirit of Pheidippides.
